  • Anyone seeking to park longer than 3 hours is encouraged to park in an off-street facility, such as 440 Mulberry St. Avoid tickets and help us keep Macon moving!

    The curb is a high-demand space with multiple users needing access (commercial vehicles, pedestrians, visitors, and others). Therefore, we need to price it appropriately in order to promote vehicle turnover and ensure that 1 to 2 spaces are available per block. This policy makes business activity more efficient, makes visitors more likely to find a space easily, lowers the pollution caused by cruising in circles for a parking spot, and improves public safety by relieving vehicle congestion.

  • Applications are processed through the online portal or in the Park Macon office at the self-service kiosk at 517 B Cherry St.

Parking Meters

Park Macon utilizes MacKay Beacon meters which take both coin and credit card payments. When using the meter, note if the meter is a single or double spaced meter. If double spaced, you must first select the space you are parked then proceed with the time selection and payment. Credit cards must be swiped, not left in the meter, to be read for payment. There is a 1hr minimum for credit card payments.
